The St-Jean-Vianney Foundation: supporting the success of our youth
The Collège St‑Jean‑Vianney Foundation, established in 1990, supports educational initiatives that foster the overall development of students. It funds scholarships, cultural, artistic and athletic projects, as well as improvements to facilities and student life.

Why the Foundation?
The St-Jean-Vianney Foundation aims to ensure the development of Collège St-Jean-Vianney and the well-being of the students who attend it. Founded in 1990 by a group of five people, the Foundation had and still has the objective of:
"To encourage, promote, financially support or assist any initiative within the framework of educational projects aimed at fostering the development of Collège St-Jean-Vianney students in all its aspects, including intellectual, cultural, artistic, social, scientific and athletic development, as well as any initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of life within the CSJV environment."
To this end, it provides financial assistance to students whose parents are experiencing financial difficulties. Scholarships are also offered to students who demonstrate an exemplary academic record and to those who practice a sport or artistic discipline at an elite level.
The Story of Antony Carola
The story of Antony Carola gave new life to the St-Jean-Vianney Foundation. It is the story of a family that, facing an immense ordeal, united with the College and its partners to dream and build from that dream.
Antony, son of Luigi and Marie-Claude and little brother of Cassandra, arrived in Secondary 1 at CSJV in 2004. Already very ill, he moved around with his oxygen tank, but he never complained, always smiling and courageous. In Secondary 2, he had to move to Toronto to receive a transplant... which never came. Antony passed away on April 19, 2006, at the age of 14.
In his honour, the Stade de soccer Antony-Carola now bears his name. To learn more about Antony and the Foundation, watch this video.

Lobster Dinner
The annual benefit event, the Lobster Dinner, is held at the Club de golf métropolitain de Montréal. This festive evening includes a gourmet dinner, a live band performance, a silent auction, draws and entertainment. It brings together parents, alumni, partners and staff to support projects such as scholarships or the renovation of the auditorium.

Fall Campaign – Citrus Fruits
Faithful to its traditions for over 20 years, the Foundation organizes every fall a citrus fruit sale (oranges, clementines, grapefruits, etc.) in partnership with Perfection. A portion of the profits is credited to the student's account for activities or the graduation ball. The funds also support scholarships and the improvement of common spaces (cafeteria, lounge, etc.).

Other Campaigns
Three times a year, the Foundation organizes used clothing sales. These sales help support families by offering items at affordable prices. Each sale is an opportunity to recycle clothing in good condition while contributing to the Foundation.
CSJV Promotional Items Sale: The Foundation also offers a selection of official CSJV items, available at the front desk. It is an opportunity to show your belonging to the community while supporting the Foundation's initiatives.
