Looking Back at Perseverance Week
Perseverance Week 2026 at CSJV. Discover the highlights, inspiring testimonials, and activities that celebrated the tenacity of our students.
Academic Perseverance and Staff Appreciation Week has come to a close at Collège St-Jean-Vianney, leaving behind a wave of inspiration and smiles. More than just a theme week, it was an opportunity to celebrate the tenacity of our students and the exceptional dedication of our school team.
An action-packed program!
To highlight everyday effort, our student life team and counsellors put together a colourful schedule where pushing boundaries and having fun went hand in hand.
- Adrenaline in the gym: The pickleball matches were a huge hit, followed by the classic basketball game pitting our students against staff members. A moment of healthy competition where team spirit shone brighter than the final score!
- Creativity and reflection: To nurture long-term motivation, a vision board activity allowed students to project their dreams and goals for the rest of the year.
- Culture and history: As part of Black History Month, a braiding activity highlighted the cultural richness of our community while learning new skills.
- Atmosphere and challenges: Between songs to keep the festive mood going, our students tested their knowledge in a quiz masterfully hosted by our principal — a much-appreciated moment of camaraderie.
Perseverance is a muscle that gets worked every day, both in classrooms and on sports fields. This week was a vibrant tribute to everyone’s commitment.
“The secret of the future lies in the present. If you pay attention to the present, you can make it better.” — This quote, dear to our team, took on its full meaning through the efforts of our Dragons this week.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, organized, and encouraged these initiatives. Your energy is the driving force behind success at CSJV!
