A private secondary and elementary school with a rich history
Founded on September 9, 1959, by Franciscan father Eusèbe Ménard and Hector Durand, in collaboration with the Société des Saints-Apôtres, Collège St-Jean-Vianney was originally founded to offer a classical education to adults, often in preparation for a religious vocation.
Over the decades, the school has evolved with Quebec society. Today, CSJV welcomes students from Grade 5 elementary to Secondary 5, in a co-educational, inclusive, and francophone environment focused on the overall development of each young person.

The College has invested heavily in state-of-the-art facilities to provide an environment conducive to academic and personal success:

Construction of the Sports and Cultural Centre, including an arena.
2009
Addition of a competition-grade double gymnasium
2010
Inauguration of the Antony-Carola indoor soccer stadium, outdoor fields, courts for basketball, beach volleyball, and more.
2027
Inauguration of the panoramic pavilion, located at the front of the College with 21 new classrooms.
