Students life | International

At the CSJV, student life involves a wide array of activities. They allow youngsters to get to know each other better, form solid friendships with their peers, develop a sense of belonging to the College, and be a source of motivation.

OUR VISION

Promote intellectual, sporting, cultural and community development :
To be a stimulating and family environment that fosters success and a balanced lifestyle that's harmonious with nature. This vision is reflected, amongst other things, in our students' involvement with their activities.

Community involvement

At the CSJV, we draw from students' overall development, be it on an intellectual, sports, cultural or community level. That's why, since 2002, we have proudly run the Community Involvement Program (PIC) that encourages students to volunteer a certain number of hours during the year.

The goal is to encourage students to develop values of goodwill and openness to the world, amongst others. The PIC fosters student awareness of the meaning and importance of life in society, as well as mutual support, social awareness, the improvement of their environment and society, and their role as citizens.

Youngsters can participate in various projects and get involved in various causes that matter to them.

Artistic groups

The CSJV has many students who are passionate about the arts and the College encourages them to develop their talent and express their creativity. Outside of class hours and the Daily Activity Program, the CSJV offers students the opportunity to take part in several artistic groups.

The groups are led by young professionals who specialize in their respective artistic field. They enable students to learn, bond with other student artists, develop their passion, and of course – to have fun.

Special activities

The CSJV offers students the chance to participate in a variety of educational, community, sports, and cultural activities. The main objectives of all these events are to bring students together, to strengthen relationships between students and educators, as well as to help maintain the family atmosphere that distinguishes our institution.

They centre on culture, sports, languages, or humanitarian aid and all offer valuable learning experiences about other cultures.
